KGSM provides information, entertainment and a cultural resource to Gustavus Adolphus College and its surrounding community.  KGSM tries to offer a forum for student driven public discussion of public issues.  KGSM’s on-air hosts and staff strive to incorporate variety in our programming and are aggressively creative in collaborative efforts with other student organizations and academic departments to better the quality of our college lives and the lives of those around us.

Our Generation - Nicole Blake

Our Generation is a ten part radio mini series of one hour long un-cut, un-edited interviews with members of the Class of 2008 at Gustavus Adolphus College. The series explores their personal life journeys and aspirations for the future as well as what they deem as some of the biggest challenges and promises of our generation. Richard Leitch, Gustavus Adolphus College Associate Professor of Political Science, received the 2008 Edgar M. Carlson Award for Distinguished Teaching during the College's commencement exercises on Sunday, June 1.

Summertime on KGSM

Classes have ended here at Gustavus and so KGSM is going off the air for a while. Yoshi and Mike's Super Fantastic Happy Hour! and Zach and Spence in the Morning...At Night! are running their last shows ever during senior week, you can tune into those at their normal times (8:00PM on Wednesday and Saturday respectively) and except for those shows we are clearing the schedule and doing some maintenance and upgrading this summer. Expect this site to go down a couple times during the summer as we make these changes. Have a wonderful summer and we will see you in the fall!
